It is a very tough decision to surrender your equine to a rescue shelter like The HPL. We can support you during this difficult time.
Our mission is to provide a safe haven for horses, donkeys and mules in need. We are dedicated to
rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing equines who need our help and providing them with the
necessary care, love and attention they need to thrive.
We understand that your equine is your close companion and surrendering them may be your last
resort to ensure their safety and security. Many things can contribute to the need to surrender your
beautiful animal. Financial difficulties, physical limitations, or other life changing events, such as
moving, can create a situation that you never thought would happen.
The HPL will work with you to surrender your equine into our care and work toward finding a caring
forever home whenever possible.
