The Horse Protection League is a a 501(c)(3) non profit organization, located at the historic Churches Ranch in Arvada, Colorado. We provide a home for horses, donkeys, and mules whose owners have surrendered them as well as those seized by court orders or humane societies. We provide our horses with a balanced diet, medical and farrier care, training, a social life, and opportunities to graze in open pasture.
Our staff and volunteers work with the horses to evaluate them, exercise them, and train them. Our goal is to find forever homes for all of our horses.
